Over the weekend the Ridgewater Warrior Baseball team opened up conference play against the Century Woodducks. The Warriors split the series 2-2. Saturday's games consisted of a win with a score of 6-5. Nolan Eischens got the win with help from Dominic Rose. The win came with strong batting performances from Elliot Domagala (1 HR & 2 RBI), Joel Liebl (1 HR & 2 RBI), and Blake Morris (2 RBI).
The Warriors came up short in the second game of the double header on Saturday March 28th with a score 7-8. Jase Dirksen pitched a full game for the warriors facing 33 batters. Elliot Domagala powered the offense with 2 RBIs.
The second half of the series was the Warriors Home Opener on Sunday March 29th. The Warriors struggled in the first game losing 0-12. Brennan Fictum would get the loss for the game. The warriors quickly rallied back however, to come up on top in the second game of the double header that sunday. The warriors won the second game with a score of 8-6. Dylan Kluis would get the win after going all 7 innings. Elliot Domagala and Luke Jeseritz lead the offense with 2 Home Runs and 5 RBIs between the two. Joe Liebl, Luke Kester and Dillon Sommerfeld each added a RBI. The Warriors finish the weekend 2-2 against the Century Woodducks who are currently ranked 10th in the Nation.
The Warriors traveled to Bethany Lutheran College on Tuesday March 31st for a nonconference game. The Warriors will be back in action this weekend. They will start their series at Alexandria Technical and Community College on Friday April 3rd followed by a double header at Home on Saturday April 4th.
